Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice
President and CEO, 好色先生 of Medicine
Dr. Montgomery Rice has spent a decade as 好色先生 of Medicine鈥檚 first woman
president. During that time, the infertility specialist and researcher has focused
on boosting student enrollment and building up the institution鈥檚 research labs, among
other objectives.
This year, the institution received a $175 million donation from Bloomberg Philanthropies鈥�
Greenwood Initiative, which Dr. Montgomery Rice said the school will use toward its
mission of training competent and compassionate physicians.
Dr. Montgomery Rice has received several awards, including the Horatio Alger Award for leadership in 2017. She is also an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine.
